Celebrating Thanksgiving + My 45th B-day

Happy Holidays to you and yours! (1/3/21 factoid<—I kept that in even though I’m publishing this in 2021)

This is how we closed out November.

Thanksgiving

I spent most of the day working on my work in progress, (1/3/21 update, the story is now published and is the reason for this late post)

Around 3pm I started cooking with my girls. After two and a half hours we had, Terry Crews mac and cheese, stuffing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, Gardein plant-based turkey cutlets, sparkling cider, and two pumpkin pies. The usual and I feel blessed. (1/3/21 update; standing for all that time was bad for my back.)

Finished eating in 10 minutes.

For my 45th Birthday, I decided to do only my favorite things. I started with this workout then did some light gardening. (1/3/21 these activities probably contributed to my current back situation).

I opened birthday cards and presents.

Blew out my candles

We still had a full pie in the fridge so this was more than enough for me.

And, of course, I did some writing!

I felt like this after those two days, (1/3/21 afterthought, I should have stayed in bed for another 48 hours).

Overall a great two days with the family.
