Author, poet, and digital artist Stacy Sorrells has been journaling and writing her entire life. In 2014 she earned her B.A. in Creative Writing. Her eclectic style is inspired by her dreams, musings and moments from everyday life. Her stories and poems often contain or address interracial/multicultural relationships. Her work has been described as, “unique”,”raw” and “surprisingly dark.”
Sorrells is an avid reader and some of her favorite authors are Shirley Jackson, Eric Jerome Dickey, Jane Austen, Niccolo Machiavelli, (The Prince) Vladimir Nabokov (Lolita) and Kurt Vonnegut (Slaughterhouse Five). Her favorite poems are written by John Keats, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, and Lord Byron.
